Today I went to my first craft show as a vendor! Did I sell anything? Yes! Did I come close to breaking even? Not even close. Did I learn something that I will use in the future? Maybe? I hope so, because I’m doing another one in a few weeks. Look, I made almost 100 pillow cases and brought about 25 pillow inserts as my entire inventory and sold six cases and three inserts, so don’t come here looking for any great insight.

Well, maybe it wasn’t today, but it was in the last 20, I can say for certain, I learned that

someone thinks it’s really easy to make those key chain things you can loop around your

wrist. It wasn’t me, though. That picture is not the actual key chain, but it had a house, so I went with it. Photo by Pavel Danilyuk

There is a craft show next Saturday, so maybe between now and then, I will also be able to say that they are easy! I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
